FAQ

  • What is our teaching philosophy?
At Beautiful Beginnings, our teaching philosophy is centered around play-based learning. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged in hands-on, interactive activities that are both fun and educational. Our curriculum is designed to incorporate play into every aspect of learning, allowing children to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them in a nurturing and supportive environment. Through play-based learning, children develop important social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills, laying a strong foundation for their future academic and personal success.
  • If my child is sick can I still bring them to school?
We strive to keep a sanitary and safe environment for all of the children at Beautiful Beginnings. If your child is sick please keep them home from preschool. If your child has an excessive cough or runny nose this may be a reason to keep them home from preschool. If your child has thrown up they may not come back to preschool until they have not thrown up for 24 hrs.
  • Do I need to pay for days my child misses?
Beautiful Beginnings does require full payment each month for preschool classes. If you have further questions or medical concerns for your child please feel free to contact us to work out details.
  • What kind of credentials do we have?
At Beautiful Beginnings, we take pride in our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child. Our center is fully licensed by the state and we meet or exceed all health and safety requirements. Additionally, our teacher holds certifications in CPR and First Aid, ensuring that they are equipped to handle any emergencies that may arise. Erica Parker has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences and Human Services and a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies. • Will any food be provided during Preschool?
Yes. We will provide a nutritious snack each day at preschool. Our snacks are planned around the children, including any dietary restrictions or food allergies they may have. The children will also be involved in cooking experiences throughout their time at Beautiful Beginnings.
  • What is the teacher to student ratio?
At Beautiful Beginnings, we maintain a low teacher to student ratio to provide individual attention and personalized care for each child. Our ratio is 1 teacher to 5-6 children, which allows for a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive and receive the attention they deserve. No class size will exceed 6 children.
